Freddie is an outstanding mathematician who has had an excellent year in A Level Further Mathematics. He has performed consistently well across all unit assessments, and his strong work ethic has been clearly reflected in his impressive end-of-year exam result. Freddie approaches problems with a concise and methodical style, producing well-structured solutions that are both easy to follow and appropriately detailed. His command of mathematical notation is particularly strong, and he uses it effectively to communicate his reasoning. His written solutions to proof-based questions are exemplary, demonstrating both precision and clarity.

Freddie has made excellent progress in Physics this year. He demonstrates a strong ability to grasp concepts and ideas quickly, which has enabled him to apply his knowledge effectively to a range of problems. His performance in the end-of-year exam was commendable, achieving a grade of A* with a score of 71%. He particularly excelled in questions related to stationary waves and dynamics.

Freddie is an absolute delight to teach and has proven to be incredibly quick at picking up the content. He is able to apply his learning to new scenarios and make astute observations and connections about content covered. Freddie is just as comfortable writing an essay on computing ethics as he is performing binary arithmetic. I am pleased Freddie has chosen to embark on the Cyber EPQ and is already looking at other extension opportunities.

Freddie has really impressed me with his work this term. He has stretched himself with his programming, attempting extension activities and working through the problems on Project Euler in his own time. He is also willing to share and discuss his programs in lessons.

Freddie has made a very positive start to the course. He is often at the centre of discussions in the classroom and clearly enjoys solving the more unconventional questions posed. A high level of accuracy is evident in his written work which clearly augurs well for the future.

Freddie is a total delight to teach. He shows massive enthusiasm and asks really interesting questions. He is very happy to wander away from the A level syllabus and explore other areas. Written work is superb, showing every detail carefully. Freddie has been responsive to feedback and quick to make necessary adjustments. It has been great to see him attempting some hard problems and he achieved a Gold in the SMC. A great start.
